I absolutely adored my time in Greece, so when I saw the #SnapASunset competition with the prize being a luxury holiday to Greece, I knew I had to be in to win! This is my favourite sunset shot that I took from the walls of Dubrovnik on my recent holiday there.
The city of Dubrovnik is a magical place at any time of day, but when the cruise ship crowds depart and the light takes on a golden tinge, it’s even more special. I’ll be posting soon about our walk around the city walls, but for now I will say simply that it is the top tourist attraction in Dubrovnik for a reason. We peeked into backyards, spotted a restaurant with a roof terrace we just had to try, and admired the panoramas over the city and the gorgeous coastline. I’m semi-obsessed with snapping sunsets and have been known to run for the sinking light. Here we timed it to perfection for this beautiful sight.
