I was blown away by Seville’s beautiful architecture, tasty tapas, and history – of which more soon. But on our wanderings I wasn’t expecting to discover a huge car park covered in different fascinating street art pieces. The scale and variety was stunning! Here’s some of my favourite pieces, plus a few others that we found while staying in this gorgeous city.
Amazing huh?! I love all the different styles, from different figures rendered in loving detail to cartoon style plants.
If you’re in Seville and want to find this area yourself, head to the Alsa terminal on Calle Torneo. I’d be interested to see what you find – from Google Maps it looks like there are different pieces added over time. Part of what I love about street art is how beautiful it can be despite its transient nature – I admire the artist who has spent hours working on a piece even though it could be gone tomorrow.
One of my favourites
We also spotted huge street art pieces while driving through the city, although they were impossible to properly photograph from the car, and a few pieces like these while walking through the busy central streets.
There was even street art right outside our Air BnB apartment!
