Will run for sunsets – especially when they’re this pretty!
December 2019 was slower at work, but speedy in every other sense. Summer has well and truly arrived in New Zealand, and I got lots of beach time, family time, and foodie time – a great month!
I’ve really enjoyed getting into Parkrun, which takes me to this very pretty corner of Hobsonville Point
When work is slow, the lunches are long – and delicious, like this epic feast at The Kimchi Project
Gorgeous evening views from the waterfront venue for my work Christmas party
A sunny December Saturday morning and this is how busy Takapuna beach is… so great!
This is Bridie – I got to name her and we’re best buds 🙂
Poderi Crisci vineyard on Waiheke Island was a fantastic location for my team Christmas party – gotta love a long Italian lunch!
Liam Gallagher, the lad himself, made it all the way to NZ to sing Oasis classics with us
Cafe Mimosa in Takapuna has the best vege, vegan, dairy-free and gluten-free brunches on offer
Kicking off a huge combined-family Christmas lunch with mango daquiris is a tradition I can get behind!
As is going for a paddleboard on Christmas Day 🙂
Love that the pontoon at Cheltenham Beach got its own Christmas tree!
An epic end to the year at Mount Maunganui with this bunch of stars plus a few more!
Whewph December, what a month! I also managed to get back on the blogging train with a post all about our epic Mount Maunganui and Coromandel road-trip, highly recommended if you’d like to see some of the best beaches New Zealand has to offer. I also summed up some of my favourite 2019 adventures, and planned a little wishlist for 2020!
For January, we’ve got a couple of beach trips and gigs planned, and then at long last my sister Zoe and her boyfriend come back from Norway for a visit. Can’t wait to see them soon!
What does the start of 2020 look like for you?
