Working near St Paul’s Cathedral gives me daily glimpses of what is probably my favourite church. Its beautiful dome and exterior never fail to put a smile on my face, and I love to wander past it at lunch time or sneak a peek on my morning commute.
However for pure location, it’s pretty impossible to beat San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice. This stunning church was built in the 16th century and really captured my eye when I visited Venice. Hopefully I’ll be back one day soon to see whether its interior is as beautiful as the outside seems to promise!
