The views from the Sydney Harbour Bridge are absolutely magnificent. Many visitors to the city choose to do a bridge climb to enjoy them, but if you’re not sure about being strapped into a jumpsuit and harness, or you want to take some photographs as well, then head to the south-east pylon of the bridge. For a much lower cost (although a few flights of stairs are involved), you can savour stunning panoramas like the one I took above for as long as you like.
I’ve visited Sydney four times in recent years, as it’s just a short hop over the Tasman from Auckland. I love the Sydney Opera House’s iconic quirky design, and I also love Sydney’s many green spaces and beautiful bays – such an awesome city!
