It’s now two years since I arrived back home in New Zealand. I’m in my first job, second flat, and third pair of running shoes. As a global pandemic rages, I’m happier than ever with the decision to move back to this beautiful peaceful corner of the world.

I love to look back on my year of adventures and remember the many awesome times I’ve had. While my travels in 2019 have generally been closer to home, our epic return to London and Glastonbury was a notable exception! And those closer to home have been fantastic adventures in their own right. Check out my 2019 here, and my wishlist for 2020!
A year ago, I boarded a plane at Heathrow with eyes filled with tears. Tears of sadness that I was leaving a life I loved, and tears of happiness that I was returning home, to a life I hoped would be even better.
This is always one of my favourite posts to write – it’s so fun to look back on all the amazing adventures I have each year! This year’s is extra special, with loads of amazing jaunts around Europe, and then the big change of hemispheres as I moved back to New Zealand and continued my explorations on this side of the world.
