December’s snapshots are a little early as I’m off to Edinburgh tomorrow for Hogmanay – so excited! I’ve never visited Scotland before so I’m looking forward to getting a taste of it while celebrating the New Year. Here’s what I got up to this month – unsurprisingly there’s more than a few Christmas-related activities!
First up for the month was a day-trip to the epic majesty of Canterbury Cathedral and the stunning white cliffs of Dover
St Bride’s Church on a lunchtime wander in the City
A festive weekend in Brussels and Bruges, including the Bruges Christmas Markets
I was pretty freaked out about ice-skating at the Natural History Museum beforehand but loved the magical rink at night
Mandatory (for me) shot of St Paul’s Cathedral
Ellie Goulding is one of my favourite singers and was a surprise guest at the filming of John Bishop’s Christmas Special – so awesome!
Rudolph at Covent Garden
Epic Meat Feast at Forza Winter – yum!
Our Flat Family Christmas – best jumpers and onesie everrrr
Amazing Christmas Carols at the Royal Albert Hall
I spent Christmas in Wales with my cousins and had an awesome time – massive thanks to all the Williams family!
It snowed (just) for Christmas!!
A sunny Saturday in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex
As the sun sets on 2013 I am really looking forward to see what exactly 2014 has in store. 2013 has been a roller coaster ride for sure! I don’t know exactly what I’ll be doing in the next year, but I know there will be lots of travel, exciting adventures in London, and most importantly good times with my fantastic friends and family – can’t wait!
