At first I wasn’t even sure whether I wanted to write this post. In past years I’ve reflected on adventures in Italy, Croatia, Greece, Mexico and Australia. How could 2020, a year where I didn’t leave New Zealand’s shores, compare? And I wrestled with whether it was right to celebrate my domestic adventures, when so many readers are in lockdown in the depths of winter.

I love to look back on my year of adventures and remember the many awesome times I’ve had. While my travels in 2019 have generally been closer to home, our epic return to London and Glastonbury was a notable exception! Without a doubt, this is one of my favourite posts to write. It’s always a pleasure to look back on my year of travels, and to compare it with where I thought I might end up. From NZ to Spain to Norway and lots in between, 2017 has been another exciting year. Tricky to narrow down my favourites, but here we go!
