The fisherman’s coracle rocked gently in our wake as he skimmed over the waters of beautiful Nha Trang Bay. Behind him, the floating fishing village showed few signs of life – perhaps they were all out pursuing the day’s catch.
Nha Trang has a bit of a reputation in Vietnam as a backpacker party town – and there is certainly this side to it. However, it’s also famous for its crystal-clear blue waters and awesome marine life. We went snorkelling in the bay and the variety and beauty of the fish we saw was stunning. I would love to go back and do my diving certificate there one day soon.
